Juventus are looking to sign Juan Cuadrado from Chelsea "in the next few days", according to club president Giuseppe Marotta.
The 28-year-old Colombian spent last season on loan at Juve having failed to make an impact at Stamford Bridge since his £26m move from Fiorentina in 2015.
Marotta told Sky Sports News on Sunday: "I hope that over the next few days we can conclude the Cuadrado deal. For now he is a Chelsea player. We presented a proposal to them and are waiting for a response, but we are optimistic."
The Bianconeri have reportedly offered Chelsea £1.7m for another year-long loan deal before a further £19m payment to make the winger's move permanent.
