Napoli have confirmed that defender Kalidou Koulibaly has signed a new five-year contract with the Serie A outfit.
The Senegal centre-back was linked with Chelsea last summer, and those links re-emerged when former Partenopei manager Maurizio Sarri took the reins at Stamford Bridge.
However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed the deal on Saturday, prior to the club's 5-0 friendly loss to Liverpool in Dublin.
"Koulibaly, he has renewed with us for another five seasons," De Laurentiis told reporters.
"He is probably the best defender in the world. For him I have refused €90m (£80m) from three clubs because I do not sell."
The 27-year-old has been at Napoli since the summer of 2014 and has so far played 164 times in all competitions, scoring eight times.
