Loic Remy to make £15.5m China move?

Chelsea striker Loic Remy is reportedly of interest to two Chinese Super League clubs.

Chelsea have reportedly agreed a £15.5m deal to allow striker Loic Remy to move to the Chinese Super League this month.

The 29-year-old, who was targeted by Premier League leaders Leicester City last month, is now being fought over by two Chinese clubs with 16 days remaining in their own transfer window.

Shanghai Shenhua are said to have been in negotiations with the Blues for several days over the deal, which would see Remy receive an annual salary of £5.4m, but now an unnamed second club have entered the fray.

According to Le 10 Sport, Remy has been given "a superior proposal... that may grab his attention" from the club, which is rumoured to be newly-promoted side Hebei China Fortune.

Chinese sides have mounted an assault on some of the world's top footballing talent in recent weeks, with Alex Teixeira, Gervinho and Jackson Martinez all completing moves to the Far East.
