Roma have reportedly entered the race to sign Chelsea forward Mohamed Salah.
The 23-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Fiorentina after struggling for playing time at the Blues.
His move proved to be a success and he scored nine goals to help the Viola reach the semi-finals of the Europa League and secure a top-four finish in Serie A.
However, he has rejected the chance to rejoin the club, and according to SportMediaset, Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has met with the Egyptian in London to discuss a transfer to the Stadio Olimpico.
Salah has been left out of Chelsea's squad for their pre-season tour of the USA.
