Nathan Ake has suggested that he could leave Chelsea on a loan basis during the January transfer window.
The 18-year-old made six senior appearances last term, but under the returning Jose Mourinho, he is yet to turn out for the Blues.
As a result, the Dutch youth international has conceded that he may depart Stamford Bridge on a temporary basis to boost his experience.
"I'm playing in the reserves, but that is still a high level. I'm still growing every day as a footballer," he told AD.
"I'm still very young, but it is important for me to be playing in the future. Let's see how it plays out until January and perhaps we will see if I can go on loan somewhere else."
Ake joined the West Londoners from Feyenoord in 2011.
