Agent: 'Petr Cech wants Chelsea stay, but PSG, Monaco interested'

Petr Cech wants to stay at Chelsea, but has attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco, according to the goalkeeper's agent.

Petr Cech's agent Viktor Kolar has insisted that the goalkeeper is keen to stay at Chelsea, but has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco are interested in signing him.

Doubts over the 32-year-old's position at Stamford Bridge have emerged due to the expected return of Thibaut Courtois, who has spent the last three seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid.

While Cech has been the Blues' number one for 10 years, the shot-stopper is expected to fight for his place after manager Jose Mourinho revealed that he wants Courtois to be part of his team for the new season.

Kolar told Czech website Aktualne: "Nothing changes. He has two years left on his Chelsea contract and has an interest to continue there. Mourinho did not tell him that he would not count on him anymore.

"We have not been given any signals that Petr would be made available [for transfer]. If that was the case, though, you have to realise that Petr is one of the world's top goalkeepers and has a certain salary. There are not many clubs who could afford to sign him.

"If he were to leave, we're discussing two or three clubs in the world. The situation has developed in a way, of course, but for now he is staying at Chelsea."

Cech joined Chelsea from Rennes in 2004.
