Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel is reportedly on the verge of joining PSV Eindhoven on loan after cutting short his spell at Stoke City.
The Dutchman, who signed for the Potters on loan in the summer, has failed to make his mark at the Britannia Stadium.
After starting the 23-year-old in just eight Premier League games, manager Mark Hughes is believed to have cut the midfielder loose ahead of the £18.2m arrival of Giannelli Imbula from Porto.
According to The Mirror, Chelsea have already opened talks with PSV regarding a possible loan move for Van Ginkel until the end of the season.
The midfielder joined the Blues from Vitesse in 2013, but is yet to break into the first team.
