Chile coach Jorge Sampaoli wary of Spain

Chile coach Jorge Sampaoli believes that Spain will be much improved when they play his side at the World Cup.

Chile coach Jorge Sampaoli has warned his players to expect a backlash from Spain when they meet at the World Cup tonight.

The reigning champions come into the match on the back of a humiliating 5-1 defeat to the Netherlands in their opening fixture.

However, Sampaoli believes that Spain will be much improved against his side this evening.

"I think Spain's players are very experienced, very mature, so probably they'll play better than against the Netherlands," he told FIFA.com. "I think they will be difficult to beat. Don't forget they're one of the best teams in the world.

"I'm sure the game will be quite different because Spain are really strong and I'm pretty sure the Spain coach will have some sort of strategy."

Chile are currently in second place in Group B following a 3-1 victory over Australia.
