Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing National League striker Josh Stones, who is currently playing for West Yorkshire club Guiseley.

Crystal Palace are interested in Guiseley striker Josh Stones, according to a report.

The National League forward has played 11 times in the National League this season, scoring his first goal of the campaign against AFC Telford back in December.

According to TEAMTalk, Palace are keeping tabs on Stones after he impressed during a recent friendly against their academy, scoring during the 1-1 draw as he represented an England schoolboy team as captain.

The club was impressed by what they saw from the striker in that match, and there were lots of scouts in attendance watching his performance.

However, the Eagles are not the only Premier League club interested in signing the 18-year-old, as it is believed that Newcastle United are also monitoring his performances.

Crystal Palace drew 1-1 with Burnley during their most recent outing, and they will be back in action on Tuesday against Stoke City in the FA Cup.
