Report: Crystal Palace to line up Jonjo Shelvey bid

Crystal Palace are lining up a move to sign Swansea City midfielder Jonjo Shelvey following his impressive campaign for the Swans last season, according to a report.

Crystal Palace have set their sights on signing Swansea City midfielder Jonjo Shelvey before the start of the season, according to a report.

The 22-year-old had an impressive campaign with the Swans in the Premier League and the Europa League last season following his £5m move from Liverpool.

Palace boss Tony Pulis is an admirer of the midfielder and is prepared to test Swansea's resolve with a bid for the England international, reports the Daily Mail.

Shelvey made 42 appearances for Garry Monk's side last season, scoring six goals.
