Tom Ince "interested" to work with Paul Clement at Derby County

Tom Ince says that he is "interested to see what ideas" Paul Clement has after completing a move to Derby County.

Tom Ince has described the chance to work with Paul Clement at Derby County as a "huge pull".

Ince completed a permanent move to the Rams yesterday for a club-record fee believed to be in the region of £4.75m.

The winger is back at the iPro Stadium after enjoying a loan spell last season, but that was under previous head coach Steve McClaren, now in charge of Newcastle United.

Clement, who is in his first managerial role, is a former assistant at Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

"The chance to work with Paul Clement was also a huge pull," Ince told the club website. "His record speaks for itself.

"He's worked with the best players in the world and I'm interested to see what ideas that he has and what formations and tactics that he wants to play."

Ince is Derby's sixth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Darren Bent, Andreas Weimann, Alex Pearce, Scott Carson and Chris Baird.
