Last season's Europa League finalists Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk required a last-minute goal from Yevhen Seleznyov to draw 1-1 with Serie A side Lazio this evening.
Ricardo Kishna looked to be the away side's most dangerous player on the pitch early on, winning a free kick shortly before seeing a shot fly over the bar.
Alessandro Matri, scorer of his side's winner in last week's win against Udinese, was then the first to actually test Dnipro goalkeeper Denys Boyko, forcing the Ukraine international stopper to make a low save with 15 minutes gone.
Lazio eventually went ahead with less than 10 minutes remaining in the first half. Kishna did well to deliver a free kick onto the head of Milinkovic-Savic, who headed the Italian side ahead.
Dnipro had a chance to level just before the whistle, but Federico Marchetti dealt with a header from Evgen Seleznyov.
In the second half, Lazio's Marco Parolo had a shot blocked before Dnipro substitute Danilo watched his long-range effort fly wide of Marchetti's post.
Matri was then unable to double his side's lead with an attempt from inside the box after a neat headed pass from Milinkovic-Savic, and Dnipro midfielder Edmar failed to equalise with a shot from distance with Marchetti determined to keep a clean sheet.
It was not to be, however, and after four minutes of stoppage time, Seleznyov fired a header into Marchetti's net from close range following a Leo Matos header to equalise and seal a late draw.
