Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov bemoans Rob Jones injury

Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov bemoans the fact his side were reduced to ten men after an injury to Rob Jones in their 4-1 defeat to Reading on Saturday.

Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov believes going down to ten men after Rob Jones' injury helped Reading pick his side off.

Doncaster were beaten 4-1 by Reading on Saturday and finished the game with ten men when Jones had to go off injured after all three substitutions had been made and Dickov believes this was the main factor behind his side's defeat.

"We didn't start great but we made the change and got back into the game," Dickov is quoted as saying by Doncaster's official Twitter page.

"Rob has come off and we've ended up with 10 men still pushing for an equaliser. Against good teams you get picked off."

The defeat leaves Doncaster in 17th position in the Championship, just four points above the relegation zone.
