Dundee moved out of the Ladbrokes Premiership bottom two for the first time this season when they won 2-1 at Livingston last Saturday.

Dundee manager Jim McIntyre insists no one at Dens Park believes they have turned the corner yet.

McIntyre's new-look team are unbeaten in three games and moved out of the Ladbrokes Premiership bottom two for the first time this season when they won 2-1 at Livingston last Saturday.

But, speaking ahead of Friday's visit of Hibernian, the former Ross County boss said: "There is nobody resting on their laurels in our dressing room. We know what's got us decent results is the hard work and endeavour, and then after that comes that wee bit of quality.

"But we have still got to go and out-run teams, out-battle them, which gives you the platform to go on and play. And when we do that, we're an effective side."

McIntyre does want his side to harness their new-found confidence though.

"We are feeling confident," he said. "We want to try and make sure we continue doing what we've been doing and putting teams under pressure and creating opportunities.

"I feel we have been creating lots of them in the last few games and we are going to have to try and do that again.

"Players play freely when the confidence is flowing. At the moment we are playing with a freedom, but I would reiterate it's because of the graft we are putting in and we are going to need all of those qualities on Friday."
