Graham Roberts insists that England can cause a surprise at Euro 2012.

Former England defender Graham Roberts believes that the Three Lions can spring a surprise at Euro 2012.

With the managerial changes as well as problems behind the scenes, England are considered outsiders for this summer's tournament.

Hodgson got off to a win in his first game in charge of the nation as England beat Norway 1-0 on Saturday, and Roberts says that the country can do well at Euro 2012.

"We're going to the European Championships as outsiders, we're not one of the favourites like we were going into the World Cup last time," Roberts told talkSPORT.

"We're going to be organised, we're going to be ready for it and I think we can surprise a few teams.

"England are now ready for this tournament, they've got the bit between their teeth and Roy will get them organised. I think we will have a good tournament, people are underestimating us at the moment."

Roberts earned six caps for England.
