Everton manager Ronald Koeman has admitted that his side need to find a way to defeat Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The Toffees head into the fixture at Goodison Park with just two wins from 11 games in all competitions, while the Merseyside outfit have recorded just one point from European matches with Atalanta BC and Apollon Limassol.
Defeat would leave Everton at least four points off the pace, and Koeman has acknowledged that not even a draw will do with two away trips still to come later in Group E.
The 54-year-old told reporters: "Really important, we know the situation in the group that we need a win. We expected a win last time but we were unlucky they scored in the last minute.
"Normally you need three wins at home and you pick something out of the away games. We need a win tomorrow."
Koeman is reportedly under pressure to keep his job at Everton after the club's dismal start to the season.
