Everton Winger Andros Twonsend speaks on his positive start to life at Goodison Park after hitting his fourth goal of the season in Saturday's 2-0 win over Norwich City.

Everton winger Andros Townsend has stated his pleasure at the start he has got off to at Goodison Park this season.

The 30-year-old, who arrived in Merseyside in the summer from Crystal Palace, has featured in all six Premier League games for the Toffees so far this term, starting five of those.

In that time, the former Tottenham man has netted two goals, including the second in their recent win over Norwich, and two assists, while also hitting a goal in each of their two EFL Cup games, as they defeated Huddersfield Town and lost a penalty shootout to Queens Park Rangers.

After scoring his fourth goal for the club in the win over Norwich at the weekend, Townsend spoke to evertonfc.com, saying: "You can see I'm loving it here. I'm loving fighting it out at the right end of the table, scoring goals, getting assists. I just need to keep working hard and long may this continue."

Speaking further on Saturday's win, the winger continued, saying: "It was a very important win after the week we've had. Norwich have probably been unfortunate with the start to the season they've had and the teams they've had to face."

Rafael Benitez's side bounced back from a 3-0 league defeat to Aston Villa and the penalty shootout loss to second-tier QPR, while making it three consecutive home wins to start a top-flight season for the first time since 1989.
