Everton forward Romelu Lukaku has said that he is confident he will return to the scoresheet once he has fully overcome the injury problems that have harmed his start to the new season.
The 23-year-old, who was strongly linked with a return to Chelsea in the summer transfer window, has not yet scored for the Toffees this term after returning from Euro 2016 with fitness issues.
However, the Belgian international insists that he will return to the goal trail once he is "100% fit" and has also denied suggestions that his lack of form is down to the transfer speculation that consumed his pre-season.
"Not at all. I left it all to my agent, he dealt with it. I just went on holiday and when I came back the last game before the season started I had an injury. It kept me out for a long time. I couldn't do anything with it," Lukaku told reporters. "So now for me it's just my pre-season phase so I'm working really hard to be 100% fit. As soon as I'm fit the goals will come for sure."
Lukaku scored 25 times in 46 appearances for Everton last season and has netted 61 times in 127 outings for the Merseyside club since 2013.
