Everton eager to sign Scott Dann?

Everton are reportedly hoping to sign Crystal Palace captain Scott Dann this summer.

Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann is reportedly a summer transfer target of Everton manager Roberto Martinez.

It is believed that Martinez sent a scouting team to watch the centre-back in action on numerous occasions last term.

The reports back were positive, which has prompted the Toffees to open up talks with their Premier League counterparts regarding Dann's availability, according to The Mirror.

However, it is believed that Palace boss Alan Pardew is determined to keep hold of his captain, who has two years left to run on his contract at Selhurst Park.

The former England Under-21 international joined Palace from Blackburn Rovers in January 2014.
