Everton reportedly expand their scouting network to cover South American nations.

Everton will reportedly search for new players in the South American region this summer.

Director of football Steve Walsh has pledged to expand his scouting network to cover countries such as Brazil and Argentina, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Walsh and manager Sam Allardyce are said to be keen to unearth fresh talent outside of Europe in the hope of picking up bargain buys for a summer squad revamp.

The news follows reports that Everton are keeping tabs on Boca Juniors and Colombia full-back Frank Fabra.

Meanwhile, it is unclear whether Allardyce will still be at Goodison Park next season, with reports suggesting that the club's hierarchy is considering replacing him at the helm.
