Alfonso Pedraza could reportedly become one of the first signings of the Farhad Moshiri era at Everton.
It was announced at the weekend that British-Iranian businessman Moshiri had acquired a 49.9% stake of the Premier League club.
Speculation since then has claimed that Moshiri is prepared to stump up around £100m for transfers in the summer.
According to The Independent, 19-year-old Pedraza has been identified by manager Roberto Martinez as a major target.
The winger started the campaign in Villarreal's B team, but he has recently broken into the senior side at El Madrigal.
It is believed that Pedraza will set the Toffees back around £2m.
