Davy Klaassen is reportedly closing in on a move to Napoli, just seven months after joining Everton.

Everton midfielder Davy Klaassen is reportedly on the verge of joining Napoli.

The Dutchman signed for the Merseyside outfit just last summer from Ajax as part of Ronald Koeman's spending spree, but he has struggled to make an impact.

In fact, the midfielder has started just seven games in all competitions, and only three of those were in the Premier League.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Italian giants Napoli are close to reaching an agreement with Everton regarding a transfer before tonight's deadline.

Klaassen has not played for the Toffees since early December.
