Burnley, Bournemouth and Sheffield United all want to sign Everton defender Mason Holgate, according to a report.

Burnley, Bournemouth and Sheffield United are all reportedly interested in signing Everton defender Mason Holgate before this summer's transfer window closes for business.

The 22-year-old ended last season on loan with West Bromwich Albion, making 23 appearances during a successful spell with the Baggies.

Slaven Bilic's side have been linked with another move for the England Under-21 international ahead of Thursday's deadline.

However, according to The Sun, Premier League trio Burnley, Bournemouth and Sheffield United are all eyeing permanent moves for the defender.

The report claims that Everton value Holgate, who still has three years left to run on his contract at Goodison Park, in the region of £10m.

The Englishman has made 48 appearances for the Toffees since arriving from Barnsley in 2015.
