Europa League roundup: Feyenoord pip Sevilla to first in Group G

Sports Mole rounds up all of Thursday's late Europa League games.

Feyenoord have finished top of their Europa League group after securing a comprehensive 3-0 win away at Standard Liege in Thursday evening's Group G clash at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne.

Jens Toornstra opened the scoring on the quarter-hour mark for the visitors, before Jean-Paul Boetius added a second on the hour and Elvis Manu sealed the victory with two minutes left to play.

The Dutch giants pipped Sevilla to first place, despite the Spanish outfit's 1-0 victory at home to Rijeka, courtesy of Denis Suarez's strike in the 20th minute.

Everton were already assured of the top spot in Group H, and as a result they rang the changes in their game against FC Krasnodar.

Roberto Martinez's young side went down 1-0 to their already-eliminated Russian opponents, who scored the winner in the first half through Ricardo Laborde.

In the group's other game, second-placed Wolfsburg thrashed Lille 3-0 away from home, thanks to Vieirinha's opener on the stroke of half time and Ricardo Rodriguez's brace.

Group I saw Young Boys secure qualification to the round of 32 at the expense of Sparta Prague with their 2-0 win against the Czech outfit, both goals coming in the last 15 minutes of the game through Guillaume Hoarau and Renato Steffen.

Meanwhile, group-toppers Napoli left lowly Slovan Bratislava without a single point in this season's competition after strikes by Dries Mertens, Marek Hamsik and Duvan Zapata gave the Partenopei an emphatic 3-0 win.

Steaua Bucuresti missed out on the chance to overtake Aalborg BK in Group J after suffering a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of first-placed Dynamo Kiev, thanks to second-half goals by Andriy Yarmolenko and Jeremain Lens.

The Danish outfit also lost on Thursday, their trip to Rio Ave culminating in a 2-0 defeat courtesy of Yonathan Del Valle's brace, but they hung on to second place thanks to Steaua's defeat.

It's as it was in Group K as Fiorentina topped the group despite a shock 2-1 defeat at the hands of Dinamo Minsk, and runners-up Guingamp sealed a 2-1 win away at PAOK.

Finally, Group L saw Trabzonspor secure qualification to the second round of the competition despite their 2-0 defeat away at group winners Legia Warsaw, while Matalist Kharkiv lost 1-0 at home to Lokeren.
