Sunday's Serie A predictions including Napoli vs. Bologna

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Napoli vs. Bologna.

Fiorentina vs. Venezia (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Following two draws to start the new season, Fiorentina will seek maximum points against promoted Venezia when the teams meet at Stadio Franchi on Sunday.

After an opening-day draw in Serie A, the Viola played out a six-goal thriller in Europe; meanwhile, the visitors were beaten by Lazio on their return to the top flight.

We say: Fiorentina 2-1 Venezia

Since 1947, no draws have been played out across 16 Serie A meetings between Fiorentina and Venezia, and that sequence should be continued on Sunday.

Having stirred into life midway through their midweek Conference League contest - with Moise Kean finally ending his goal drought - the Viola can take care of business against an away side still finding their feet at the top level.

Torino vs. Atalanta (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Amid an unsettling time in the transfer market, Atalanta BC got off to a winning start in Serie A, and they will now aim to turn over Torino on Sunday.

Despite two stars of their Europa League triumph standing by the exit, the Bergamo club cruised past Lecce last week; meanwhile, Toro came within a whisker of beating AC Milan.

We say: Torino 1-1 Atalanta BC

Though their concentration lapsed at the end of last week's draw with Milan, Torino's defence has proven tough to breach this year, and even a change of management should not change that.

Atalanta still have plenty of talent available, but suffering so many disruptions may mean they can only come away from Turin with a point.

Napoli vs. Bologna (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Both adapting to life under new management, Napoli and Bologna will seek their first Serie A win of the season when they meet on Sunday evening.

The hosts endured a nightmare start by losing in Verona, while their Champions League-bound counterparts had to settle for a home draw against Udinese.

We say: Napoli 0-0 Bologna

More disappointment may be in store for Napoli, as they still seem unsure of their identity under Antonio Conte; Bologna can be a tough nut to crack, so a low - or no - scoring draw could be on the cards.

Roma vs. Empoli (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Having failed to find the net last week, Roma will seek a first win of the new season on Sunday, as they welcome Empoli to Stadio Olimpico.

While the Giallorossi could not find a way to break through in Cagliari, their visitors were also held goalless, drawing 0-0 with Monza.

We say: Roma 2-0 Empoli

Roma have compiled too much attacking talent to go without scoring again, so they should open their victory account for the season at Empoli's expense.

The Azzurri do not tend to travel well, and they could find themselves outgunned under the Sunday-night lights at Stadio Olimpico.
