Sunday's Serie A predictions including Inter Milan vs. Napoli

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Inter Milan vs. Napoli.

Atalanta vs. Udinese (Sunday, 11.30am)

Four wins in a fortnight have boosted Atalanta BC's hopes of collecting more silverware this season, and La Dea will aim to extend that fine form by beating Udinese on Sunday.

Not only did they sweep aside Serie A leaders Napoli last weekend, but Gian Piero Gasperini's men then secured three points in Stuttgart, striding closer to the Champions League's knockout stage.

We say: Atalanta BC 2-1 Udinese

Although Udinese pose more of a threat than last term, Atalanta's recent defensive record is only outshone by their towering tally of goals.

Even if the Bianconeri do find the net, La Dea should still out-score them and seal a fifth straight success.

Fiorentina vs. Hellas Verona (Sunday, 2.00pm)

High-flying Fiorentina welcome a Hellas Verona side full of confidence after an impressive win last week to the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Serie A on Sunday.

In a congested top six, Fiorentina are the surprise entry to the title race so far, going under the radar slightly with new manager Raffaele Palladino.

We say: Fiorentina 3-1 Hellas Verona

While last week's win was important, Zanetti will know that his Verona side are still too close for comfort to the bottom three, and away form this season suggests this will be a difficult assignment.

Only Venezia and Lecce have fewer points than Verona on the road, while Fiorentina have won five in a row in Serie A and are unbeaten on home soil this season.

Roma vs. Bologna (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Both enduring tough times in Europe, Roma and Bologna return to league duty on Sunday, when they will vie for three precious points at Stadio Olimpico.

In addition to mustering just one continental win between them from eight attempts, the pair have also performed below par in Serie A.

We say: Roma 0-0 Bologna

Both averaging just over one goal per game, two teams searching for rhythm could play out a gritty stalemate at the Olimpico, further frustrating the home fans.

Roma still seem far from united, while Bologna often fail to convert enough chances to turn one point into three.

Monza vs. Lazio (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Following five straight wins in all competitions, Lazio will meet Monza on Sunday evening, as they aim to keep within touching distance of the Serie A summit.

Safely inside Italy's top six and flying high in the Europa League, the Biancocelesti's stellar form stands in contrast to their hosts, who have picked up one point from three games over the past two weeks.

We say: Monza 1-3 Lazio

Even if Monza manage to gain the lead, Lazio are at their strongest during the final third of matches and have sufficient firepower to blow them away.

The Biancocelesti have scored more goals during the final 30 minutes than any other Serie A side this season - no fewer than 12 in 11 games - so they will surely pick up maximum points.

Inter Milan vs. Napoli (Sunday, 7.45pm)

A clash of Calcio titans will bring together reigning Serie A champions Inter Milan and league leaders Napoli, as the teams convene at San Siro on Sunday.

The visitors sit one point clear of their hosts after a shocking home loss last week; meanwhile, Inter have just put together three straight wins, including an impressive result in the Champions League.

We say: Inter Milan 2-1 Napoli

A fascinating duel between two of Italy's top tacticians should unfold at San Siro, where psychology may be just as important as ability.

Inter are strong in both departments, while Napoli remain a work in progress - most of their wins have come against lower-ranked teams - and are bound for another defeat.
