Fiorentina are optimistic that they can keep Stevan Jovetic from leaving the club in the January transfer window.
Both Juventus and Manchester City are thought to be keen on the 22-year-old. However, Fiorentina president Andrea Della Valle insists that he will do all he can to keep Jovetic at the club.
The Montenegro international has admitted that he is happy to stay with La Viola for the time being, but that has not brought an end to the speculation surrounding his future.
"I promised that I would build a team that kept up with him, and this has happened," Sky Sports News quotes Della Valle as saying.
"At the end of the season we'll talk of his situation, I will listen to him and I will do everything to keep him here.
"We need him, and now there are more chances that Jovetic could stay than a few months ago."
Jovetic joined Fiorentina from Partizan in 2008.
