Stevan Jovetic says that he has no plan to leave Fiorentina and is confident that his side can compete for the Serie A title in the coming years.

Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic has said that he will not leave the Italian club anytime soon.

Manchester City and Juventus are reportedly both interested in the 23-year-old, who has a contract with the Serie A outfit until June 2016.

"I am fine here," he told Rai Sport. "I will not go. I have no thoughts about leaving, although in life you never know what might happen."

Jovetic is also confident that Fiorentina can win the Scudetto in the future.

"The main strength of this team is the unity of the group," said the Montenegro international. "We are all very close. I promise the fans that we will fight to finish in the Champions League places.

"We are equipped to do so, but there are a lot of teams [that can challenge for third place]. We will do our best though.

"It is too soon to speak about the Scudetto, but in the future, with the right purchases, we think that is a realistic goal."

Fiorentina are currently fourth in Serie A with 29 points from 15 matches, six points behind leaders Juventus.
