Former Coventry City boss Steven Pressley has reportedly been chosen as the new Fleetwood Town manager.
The 41-year-old emerged overnight as the favourite to succeed Graham Alexander, who was sacked last week, and the Cod Army have called a press conference for 4pm to reveal their new manager.
Pressley has been without a job since being sacked by Coventry, another League One side, earlier this year. He also managed Scottish side Falkirk for three years at the start of the decade.
According to Sky Sports News, Pressley has been chosen ahead of Steve Thompson, who was thought to be favourite until Pressley moved into contention.
Fleetwood are second-bottom in the third tier with just two wins out of 11 so far this season.
