France defender Patrice Evra has insisted that his team will not underestimate Portugal in Sunday night's Euro 2016 final.
France overcame Germany on Thursday to make the final of the competition, while Portugal saw off Wales to book their spot in the conclusion of the tournament.
Portugal have only won one match in 90 minutes at Euro 2016, but Evra has branded Fernando Santos's outfit "a very good team".
"It's a big match. Portugal is a very good team, one that was very much criticised," Evra told beIN Sports. "People said they hadn't won a game in 90 minutes. Everyone said Croatia was going to make it and if Portugal is there it's not for nothing, they deserve to be there.
"A final is a final, I'm going to play against some old teammates there. It's a big moment, but there are no gifts here."
France are bidding to win their first major trophy since triumphing at Euro 2000.
