Martin Jol insists he will field a "good team" against Dutch side FC Twente in the Europa League tonight.

Fulham boss Martin Jol has reiterated his commitment to the Europa League ahead of his side's clash with FC Twente tonight.

The Cottagers are currently third from bottom in the League, with just two points from four games, after a busy pre-season that began in June.

"We've got two points, but we should have had six points," Jol told the club's official website. "If we'd have won our game against Aston Villa or Blackburn, we'd probably be eighth in the League, so it would be a different situation."

Jol said he would make "changes" to his squad against the Dutch visitors tonight, but would still field a good team.

"We want to win this game and we want to give the crowd a lot for their money, so we have to play a good team," he explained. "But we have another game on Sunday then again on Wednesday against Chelsea, and I have to have my best players [for that]."

Asked if he would prefer success in Europe or domestically, he replied: "You want to win this competition too so we're not going to take it lightly. It's really important, but if you ask me now, I will always choose the League."

Fulham go into tonight having never lost a home game in Europe.
