Martin Jol is reportedly lining up a £4m bid for Bristol City striker Nicky Maynard.
Fulham have idenified Maynard as a replacement for Bobby Zamora, according to The Sun.
Zamora's stint with the Cottagers looks likely to come to an end in January amidst reports of a rift with Jol and attention from clubs such as Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa.
Bristol are reluctant to let Maynard go, but they could be tempted to sell in January as his contract expires in the summer.
The 25-year-old has scored seven goals for the Championship side this season.
