Fulham boss Claudio Ranieri has reportedly decided to try to secure a reunion with Nantes forward Emiliano Sala.
Ranieri was recently appointed as the new boss of the Cottagers, and the Italian is expected to be active in the transfer market during January.
According to The Mirror, Ranieri has indicated that he would like to bring in Sala, having worked with the striker during his time at Nantes last season.
The 28-year-old is in demand having already netted 11 goals in Ligue 1 during the current campaign, and with just over 18 months remaining on his contract.
Roy Hodgson is also said to be keen on a deal for the Argentine due to Crystal Palace's problems in front of goal during the new campaign.
Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Leicester City and West Ham United have all previously been linked with an approach for the frontman.
