Galatasaray have been held to a 2-2 draw by Astana in their Champions League group stage clash, in a match that saw two own goals scored.
The Turkish outfit, who lost their opening game to Atletico Madrid a fortnight ago, failed to return to winning ways despite leading with three minutes to go.

Hamza Hamzaoglu's side were the more threatening side throughout the first half, despite Astana enjoying the greater possession for long periods. Gala's first chance went to Wesley Sneijder six minutes in, with the Dutchman forcing Nenad Eric into a save from 25 yards.
Lionel Carole fed Sneijder on the edge of the box for another opportunity, which Eric gathered. Astana then forced Fernando Muslera into action, with the Uruguayan stopper diving down low to keep out Georgi Zhukov's strike.
After Sneijder missed another chance on the half-hour mark, Gala took the lead through Kisa. The midfielder picked the ball up 30 yards from goal and produced a powerful, swerving strike that had Eric beaten.

The visitors looked to double their lead after the break, but Eric was alert to prevent Umut Bulut from scoring after he had been set up by Carole. Then, Astana broke up the other end, where midfielder Nemanja Maksimovic had his shot kept out by Muslera.
Astana continued to press for an equaliser as Foxi Kethevoama crossed for Baurzhan Dzholchiyev, who saw his shot blocked by Carole, then Kethevoama headed wide after being picked out by a cross from Roger Canas.
The Kazakh side levelled the score in the 71st minute, when Hakan Balta saw the ball bounce in off his shins after Muslera parried away Dzholchiyev's cross.
Galatasaray went in front with another own goal three minutes from the end of normal time when Eric tipped the ball back into his own net while attempting to keep out a shot from substitute Sinan Gumis.
They could not hold on for the win, however, as Canas made it 2-2 on 89 minutes. Muslera punched a cross out to the edge of the area, where Canas stuck it on the rebound. The ball deflected off Carole and beat Muslera, who had scrambled across his line in an attempt to keep it out, but the goal was awarded to the Astana man.
As a result, the Kazakh side have earned their first-ever point in the group stage of the Champions League.
