Galatasaray have reportedly joined Roma in the battle to sign Kevin-Prince Boateng from Schalke 04 this summer.
Boateng is expected to leave Schalke after he was indefinitely suspended by the club in May, and sporting director Horst Heldt recently revealed that the Ghanaian will not be welcomed back into the squad.
AC Milan were rumoured to be interested in re-signing the midfielder, but La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Galatasaray are leading the race to secure his services.
However, a return to Serie A is still a possibility and Roma director Walter Sabatini is reported to have made contact with Boateng's representatives.
The 28-year-old signed a four-year contract with Schalke when he left Milan in January 2013.
