Genoa defender Thomas Manfredini has revealed that Sunday's match against Chievo will be tricky for him and his teammates.
His captain Daniele Portanova said that the Genoa players, who are currently 15th in Serie A, want to prove themselves to the knowledgeable home fans.
"We must focus on the big game on Sunday against Chievo," Tuttosport quotes Manfredini as saying. "They are always organised and difficult to deal with.
"We want to prove our worth," Portanova said. "It's nice to play for a club and supporters like ours, who live for football seven days a week."
Chievo are a point and two places behind Genoa.
