Getafe owner Angel Torres Sanchez has said that his club are 'hopeful' of raiding fellow capital clubs Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in order to boost their squad for the 2017-18 campaign.
Getafe are back in the top flight of Spanish football after overcoming Tenerife in the Segunda Division playoffs, and the Madrid outfit are expected to overhaul their squad in this summer's transfer window.
Torres has revealed that he has already met with Atletico to discuss loaning players from head coach Diego Simeone, while a similar agreement could also be reached with Real Madrid.
"On Tuesday we visited Atletico and a few names that were presented to us might be of interest," Torres told reporters. "We will talk to Real Madrid too and make some effort to get some players. A couple could arrive from each club because the names that have been given interest us."
Alvaro Jimenez spent last season on loan at Getafe from Real Madrid.
