Hamburger SV midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has revealed that his agent is in talks with Galatasaray over a potential move to the Turkish club.
Calhanoglu has featured regularly for the Bundesliga side so far this season, catching the eye of many top clubs around Europe.
The 19-year-old Turkey international has expressed his desire to play under Gala boss Roberto Mancini but also reveals that he would need guaranteed first-team football if he was to leave Hamburg.
"It's true, Mancini wants me and I hope that I can work with him one day because he's a great coach. There have been talks and my agent is in touch with Galatasaray," Calhanoglu told Beyaz TV.
"If I move, then I want to be playing in the starting XI. That will be an important factor in my decision. If I were to join Galatasaray, then I know that I would be competing for a place with Wesley Sneijder."
Calhanoglu's current contract with Hamburg expires in 2016.
