Neil Lennon's Celtic lost ground in the Scottish Premier League title race with a 2-0 loss away at Hearts this afternoon.
Rudi Skacel opened the scoring after the break when he converted a pass from Jamie Hamill in the 56th minute.
Celtic midfielder Kris Commons was then handed his marching orders after 64 minutes for a foul on Adrian Mrowiec.
It took hosts Hearts until the 80th minute to make the most of their numerical advantage and ensure that the three points were sealed. David Templeton was the creator, back-healing on the by-line for Ryan Stevenson to collect before shooting into the roof of the net from close range.
Lennon's side now find themselves ten points behind league leaders Glasgow Rangers, although they do have one game in hand on their city rivals.
