Hearts and Hibernian have played out a goalless draw in tonight's Edinburgh derby at Tynecastle.
The stalemate has seen the hosts stay in ninth place in the Scottish Premier League table, while Hibs remain in fourth place.
Hearts goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald was called into action twice in the first half, but he was able to keep out efforts from Tim Clancy and Eoin Doyle respectively.
Meanwhile, Andrew Driver had the home side's best chance in the opening 45 minutes when he fired narrowly wide from the angle.
The hosts had a glorious opportunity to take the lead in the early stages of the second half, only for Ryan Stevenson to fluff his lines.
The striker was on hand to convert the rebound after Mehdi Taouil's effort had been spilled, but he was denied by the recovering Williams.
Doyle then put his shot over the crossbar at the other end when he would have been expected to do better.
Marius Zaliukas headed over from a corner late on for Hearts, while Jason Holt saw his strike heroically cleared by Ryan McGivern.
There was still time for late drama in the form of John Sutton's header which came back off the crossbar in the first minute of injury time.
