Scottish Premiership outfit Hearts have completed the double signing of former Derby County striker Conor Sammon and Belgian-Moroccan defender Faycal Rherras.
Sammon, 29, moves to Edinburgh on a three-year deal after his contract at the iPro Stadium expired, having originally come to prominence at Kilmarnock.
Meanwhile Rherras, 23, was with Belgian side Sint-Truiden where he made 49 appearances over two seasons, and has international experience with the Morocco Under-23 side.
Hearts manager Robbie Neilson told the club website: "Conor brings a lot of experience to the squad. He knows the Scottish game well after a successful period at Kilmarnock and has played at the highest level down in England.
"Faycal is a player with real potential and will be a big boost to the defence. He's played at a good level in Belgium and has been involved in the Moroccan international scene so it's quite a coup to get him.
"Both players will add a lot to the squad and I'm looking forward to working with them."
The signings come one day after the acquisition of former Dundee United forward Robbie Muirhead.
