Team News: Celtic signing Stefan Johansen on the bench

Celtic name new signing Stefan Johansen on the bench while Giorgios Samaras recovers from injury to start against Hibernian.

Stefan Johansen must wait for his Celtic debut as he is named on the bench for their Scottish Premiership clash with Hibernian at Easter Road.

Giorgios Samaras has shaken off a hamstring injury to start for Neil Lennon's men, but Adam Matthews is kept out of action with a calf problem.

Meanwhile, Hibs boss Terry Butcher names young forward Danny Handling among the substitutes after he came through a midweek Under-20 match unscathed.

Ryan McGivern and Paul Hanlon are sidelined through injury, while midfielder Scott Robertson is suspended.

Celtic, who are yet to lose a Premiership match this season, would extend their lead over second-placed Aberdeen to 15 points.

Hibernian know victory will put them to within a point of St Johnstone and the top six.

Hibernian: Williams; Maybury, Forster, Nelson, Stevenson; Zoubir, Stanton, Craig, Taiwo; Harris, Collins

Celtic: Forster; Fisher, Ambrose, van Dijk, Izaguirre; Brown, Biton, Mulgrew, Ledley; Samaras, Commons
