Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town are goalless at half-time in tonight's Championship opener at the Cardiff City Stadium.
The visitors, who were without last season's leading goalscorer Jordan Rhodes, dominated much of the opening half and could have taken the lead when Scott Arfield found space on the angle. However, David Marshall got down low to palm away the effort.
At the other end, Jordan Mutch, who was making his home debut for the Bluebirds, saw his drive flash wide following a scramble in the area.
Oliver Norwood nearly scored a spectacular debut goal for Huddersfield, but his dipping drive from outside of the area had to be tipped away by Marshall.
However, the best chance of the opening half came just a minute before the break as Cardiff's Heidur Helguson headed against the crossbar from a corner.
