Hull City manager Steve Bruce has lavished praise on Shane Long after the striker helped end his side's barren run of results.
Long, who was making his home debut after joining the club in the January transfer window, gave the Tigers an early lead against Tottenham Hotspur at the KC Stadium.
Paulinho levelled the contest for the visitors to ensure a share of the spoils, but Bruce was still happy with the result.
"Shane gives us something we've been missing - pace. Once he goes through, you know he's going to run away from everybody," Bruce is quoted as saying in The Mirror. "We had a tough January so we're delighted we've got a point.
"It could have been three - I thought we arguably had the better chances in the game - but Tottenham are always a threat going forward, they ask all the questions.
"I thought it was a terrific game of football and we're delighted we've got something out of it to get us moving again because we've been stuck for a month, so it's nice to get moving again at last."
Hull are currently two points above the Premier League relegation zone in 13th position.
