Hull City's Robert Snodgrass coming to terms with knee injury

Hull City midfielder Robert Snodgrass admits that he is still trying to cope with the knee injury that has ruled him out for the rest of the season.

Hull City midfielder Robert Snodgrass has admitted that he is still trying to get his head around the knee injury that has curtailed his first season at the club.

The Scotland international suffered a dislocated kneecap against Queens Park Rangers on the opening day of the Premier League campaign and is not expected to play again this term.

Snodgrass says that he has struggled to come to terms with the severity of the injury.

"The diagnosis has been that this season is gone. If I play any part, it will be a bonus," FourFourTwo quotes him as saying.

"Football injuries happen to everybody. It's part and parcel of the game but the timing of it is quite sickening. I've got to get my head around it."

Snodgrass moved to the KC Stadium from Norwich City during the summer.
