Hull City's Robert Snodgrass "gutted" after suffering injury blow

Robert Snodgrass admits that he is "gutted" to be ruled out of action for six months, but vows to come back stronger for Hull City.

New Hull City midfielder Robert Snodgrass has vowed to come back stronger after he was dealt a six-month recovery time from a dislocated kneecap.

The Scotland international will be on the sidelines for a lengthy period after suffering the injury during the Tigers' 1-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers last weekend.

After manager Steve Bruce confirmed the news, Snodgrass tweeted: "Gutted ....!!! But I will work as hard as I can to come back fitter and stronger 🙏."

The 26-year-old moved to the KC Stadium from Norwich City in the summer for a fee in the region of £8m.
