Steve Bruce eager to replace injured Robert Snodgrass

Steve Bruce admits that he is looking to replace Robert Snodgrass, who suffered a serious knee injury on his Hull City debut.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has revealed that discussions are already underway to replace Robert Snodgrass.

The winger only arrived at the KC Stadium from Norwich City earlier this summer, but he suffered a dislocated kneecap during Saturday's 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers, which has ruled him out of action for six months.

When asked if he would look to add an alternative option to the Scotland international to his squad, Bruce revealed that "two or three offers" have been lodged.

"We're trying to add to the squad as we know we have to. We've got 10 or 12 days to try to bring in a replacement [for Snodgrass] and two or three offers went out in the last 24 to 48 hours," he told reporters.

Among those to have been linked with a move to Hull is Lorient winger Vincent Aboubakar.
