A report claims that Hull City could move for Boavista attacker Renato Santos in the January transfer window.

Hull City are reportedly eyeing a January swoop for Boavista attacker Renato Santos.

The Tigers are expected to be active in the winter transfer window as they look to boost their chances of surviving in the Premier League.

According to Noticias ao Minuto, Hull scouted Santos during Boavista's 1-0 defeat to Sporting Lisbon at the weekend and will continue to watch the 25-year-old over the next couple of weeks.

Santos, who can play wide or as a central striker, will see his Boavista contract expire at the end of next season, but it is understood that an unnamed Bundesliga club are also showing a keen interest.
