Half-Time Report: Ipswich Town unable to break down Bolton Wanderers

Ipswich Town head into the break level with Bolton Wanderers in their Championship match at Portman Road.

Ipswich Town have been unable to break the deadlock following a goalless first half in their Championship meeting with Bolton Wanderers this evening.

Jonathan Parr had the first attempt on goal for the hosts, but was only able to direct his volley over the bar.

Ipswich came close again when Freddie Sears stole possession from Tim Ream and drove through on goal before seeing his effort saved by Ben Amos.

The visitors gradually became more of an attacking threat as the first half wore on, and in the space of a minute Liam Trotter and Craig Davies both dragged shots wide of the post.

With the game approaching half time Rochinha nearly gave Bolton the lead, but after a fine solo run he dragged his effort wide of the post.
