Grant Leadbitter and Jason Scotland will be offered new contracts at Ipswich Town, according to manager Paul Jewell.

Paul Jewell has revealed that he wants to keep Grant Leadbitter and Jason Scotland at Ipswich Town beyond the end of the season.

The duo's current contracts will expire in the summer, making them free agents for potential suitors.

However, Jewell has admitted that he is keen to see the pair remain at Portman Road and will offer fresh terms to both players.

"I want to sign Grant Leadbitter and I want to sign Jason Scotland," he told the East Anglian Daily Times.

"Whether we can do a deal which will satisfy them financially I don't know - it will be their prerogative what they say, but we do want to keep them."

Jewell also refused to deny reports that Leadbitter and Scotland will be asked to take pay cuts.
